Summary

I returned from living in the woods for half a decade with a devotion to wellness and nature. I found that I have a knack for teaching meditation and have been enjoying that life very much. My recovery from a brain tumor, from alcoholism, and from mental anguish to a state of ease and health is my motivation to share the practical tools I've learned over a lifetime of practice. I have been working with marginalized populations: queer folk, neurospicy, disabled folks, newly housed people, single mothers and justice-involved people. My intention is to keep my offerings free to those I serve and funded by organizations and agencies which support our shared goal of community wellness. So far I've done ok! I am hoping to enroll in the 300-hour Trauma Sensitive Yoga program to add the richness and depth of research to my lived experience. I searched a long time before finding this program, and I feel this intensive, data driven, mentorship based program is just right for me. And, Lama Rod! His books are amazing.
