Inner Space Yoga: KC based yoga studio focused on ancient practice and offering a variety of additional community events such as singing classes, sound baths and more. This is no hot-yoga, get a 6 pack studio. They are about the breath and spirit. Every class they host is suitable for a beginner, and every class will enrich a lifelong practitioner. This space is a rock of my week and peacefulness.

Alexis Penney’s Star Holistic Services: I take classes on Energy Body Master and participate in many of Alexis’ online community gathering. They are a light-hearted and deeply wise person who has a brilliantly written substack you should also subscribe to. I have learned so much about a path of health through interacting with this wonderful teacher.

InterUrban Art House: Based in Shawnee Mission Kansas, this wonderful studio, gallery and event space is at the leading edge of serving the art community in our region. Leaving behind all of the gatekeeping and truly opening opportunites for artists of all backgrounds and beings, I’m always delighted and thrilled with the happenings at this dynamic spot.

Cherry Pit Collective: is a studio space and workshop area for femme and non-binary artists in the KC metro area. This wonderful building is right by the amazing non-profit 816 Bike Collective, and is the spot where I keep my studio and host Writer’s Circle. They have a ton more amazing community and art education opportunities!
